We'd been to Amsterdam a few times so we decided to go a bit further afield this time with daytrips to the north. We boarded a train bound for Enkhuizen, a well preserved port town that would have seen the likes of Abel Tasman (discovered of Tasmania) depart from her shores. The train station was located right next to a breezy harbor.
Grand Café Restaurant Van Bleiswijk.
A glass of wine was just what the doctor ordered after we'd gotten soaked outside.
A hot tureen of soup also helped.
