Another new coffee shop has opened up on the corner of Northumberland and Landsdowne Roads in Dublin 4. The Coffee Kiosk looks unassuming...
...but serves a well-crafted cup of java. Brian owns the place and roasts his own beans. He rotates stock of different origins (Costa Rican, Guatamalan, etc). He even stocked the world's most expensive coffee, Kopi Luwak, for a time. At 30 EUR per cup, it was definitely out of my price range. Sourced from Java, it is made from coffee berries that have been ingested and digested by civets. Yes, these beans have been pooped out, collected, washed, and finally roasted.
The Coffee Kiosk has made it into our regular morning coffee rotation - great stuff!
