Our goal is to see a performance in every theatre venue in Dublin. We added another to our list recently when we saw Treading Water at the New Theatre in Temple Bar.
The venue is quite intimate with about 8 rows of 10-15 seats each. Theatre-goers walk through a bookstore to get there (featuring lots of obscure historical and political titles).Treading Water was a comedy with some darker elements mixed in and revolved around Irish armed robbers in New Jersey. Glad we were able to spend an evening out at the New Theatre -- the price was right at 15 euro a ticket.
