We recently saw The Tosca Project at the American Conservatory Theatre near Union Square in San Francisco. This theatre is one of our favorites and this is the first time I've managed to catch a snap while there was still some daylight left. We usually see shows in the fall and winter so it's dark by the time the curtain rises. |
The Tosca Project was rather unusual in that there was very little dialog. The story, told entirely through dance, tracked the landmark Tosca Cafe in North Beach from the 1920s through the present. It depicted an interesting slice of San Francisco history. Better still, we managed to get special preview tickets for only $10.00 (tax and service fees included). I definitely recommend getting onto the A.C.T. mailing list to find out about these unbelievable deals. |
