Granada takes on a whole new character after dark. The town comes alive in the late evening (it's Spain, after all where the party doesn't get started until at least 10 or 11 pm!) We finally got a chance to see the lights along Gran Via de Colón.
Bar Alhambra because all the indoor seats were taken. Thank goodness for heat lamps!
We discovered Kanela, an unassuming tapas bar that offered a glass of beer (caña de cerveza) and a tapa for just two euros.
We couldn't resist and again felt a bit like locals popping into an out-of-the-way but favorite spot for a drink and snack.
We were pleased to discover how much Granada simply comes alive after dark.
