The improv itself was entertaining (one troupe even left chocolate on the seats to warm up the audience) but it was even more fun to check out this little known venue.
We stepped into a stately Georgian building on the North Side not far from Parnell Square.
The Teachers' Club and their very own pub on the upper level.
Just outside the pub, we saw wooden boards listing all the past presidents of the organization.
My favorite part though was seeing a portrait of one of the presidents downing a Guinness at the entrance to the pub! Great stuff...
The pub seems to be open to the public and is a nice atmospheric spot to grab a pint even if there are no other events on when you drop in.
