Rhinos are captivating creatures and it's simply tragic that these gentle giants have been nearly wiped out due to poaching. In the far east, rhino horn is coveted for traditional 'medicine' and is worth more than gold ounce for ounce. This is incredibly sad because there really is no medicinal value in rhino horn. It is made from the same materials as fingernails.
