We were wandering back to North Beach from Coit Tower when we heard strains of music. We tracked the sound to it's source: The Savoy Tivoli.
We scored a seat at the bar, grabbed a beer, and setting in for some Big Band Jazz.
Both the music and atmosphere were super-fun.
Near Union Square on Maiden Lane, we caught a glimpse of the resident opera singer and busker.
In the evening, we set out again toward Fort Mason. We chanced upon a creative parklet in the Marina made from a hollowed out truck bed.BATS Improv is always a treat and we witnessed a hilarious Star Trek'esque adventure.
