Once again, I stayed down on the Peninsula during the week on my latest business trip to San Francisco to avoid the grueling commute to and from the city. As a result, I got to sample some of Mountain View's finest cuisine on my trip. I started out at Fiesta del Mar. This one was a classic when I was a graduate student with salsa that was blow-your-head-off spicy. How could I resist coming here when they have a Dr J margarita on the menu?!
Amarin, a Thai restaurant in downtown Mountain View.
Taqueria La Bamba. The paintings on the wall aimed to tell a story about the Aztecs.
A must for a burrito shack, in my opinion, Taqueria La Bamba featured a self-service salsa bar.
