Paris - Musee d'Orsay

We've been to Paris three times since moving to Ireland two years ago and I'm happy to report that we still haven't seen everything.  It's always good to have a reason to come back.  On this trip we visited the Musee d'Orsay.  The museum is famous for its collection of Impressionist works, particularly Claude Monet.  Check out this armored rhino near the entrance.
Regal statues greeted us by the door.
The museum sits in a converted train station.  Photos aren't allowed inside past a certain point, but here you get a sense of the size and structure of the place.
I liked this giant gilded clock on the wall.
The Musee d'Orsay also features a rooftop balcony with beautiful views of the Seine, Jardin des Tuileries and the Louvre.
We took a look back towards the museum and the slate gray roof shining in the sun before heading back outside to enjoy a gorgeous fall afternoon.
