I love visiting Spain for the tapas. I'll never get used to eating dinner at 10 or 11 pm at night so our strategy is to indulge in tapas a bit earlier. We don't ingest as many calories and have a chance to sample lots of different treats. On our recent city break in Barcelona, we sampled a variety of tapas. Our first tapas experience was an afternoon stop at Piscolabis.
Here's a look at some of the foods we sampled:
A glass of red wine and tomato bread...
Alta Taverna Paco Meralgo in the evening and sampled empanadas and vegetables estofado...
Jules Verne restaurant on La Rambla.
We took a seat at the bar.
The special menu was a bargain so we decided to indulge in that.
You won't go hungry in Barcelona!
