We capped our most recent weekend in London with a podcast about the historic theatre pubs in Islington. We started at the Red Lion learning more about this drinking establishment turned theatre hall through our Android phone.
The Importance of Being Earnest, one of my favorites by Oscar Wilde was on.
The other pubs were a bit of a walk away so we had the chance to explore the High Street in Islington en route. I was mesmerized by these futuristic shoes -- how can you walk on those?
Byron -- a great spot for burgers and beers (or in this case, cider).
King's Head. They actually do opera performances in the pub theatre!
Otto Lenghi for some sweet treats.
Hen and Chickens theatre pub.
Market Porter right next to Borough Market for a pint of ale to toast our fun filled weekend in London before heading to the airport for our flight home.
