Ephesus Museum and Lunch

We caught a cab back into Selçuk and alighted in front of this reclining sculpture near the Ephesus Museum.
A crumbling sarcophagus sat near the entrance.
The Ephesus Museum houses many of the more delicate artifacts from the excavation.
We were impressed by the array of sculptures and statues that we saw.
We walked outside to a flower lined courtyard.
Workshops and demonstration stations were closed for the season.
I was impressed by the rather humble naked man riding this large and fearsome fish.
More antiquities from Ephesus decorated this courtyard.
To round out our day, we stopped at the Selçuk Köftecisi for lunch.  The restaurant has been in business for over 50 years and serves moist and delicious kofta.
We soon attracted an audience as we tuckered into our lunch.
Our Artemis dessert (nut-covered, caramel pudding) was the crowning achievement on a day steeped in history.
