Istanbul - Sunset on the Bosphorus and Good Eats

We cruised back from Andolu Kavagi to Istanbul at dusk.
Again, the birds went crazy as we churned up the fish as when we pulled into port.
As we approached the northernmost bridge leading across the Bosphorus, we caught a glimpse of the sunset through the cables.
The sun sank lower toward the horizon as we pushed south.
I managed to catch quite a few beautiful pictures of the sunset, some with silhouettes of Istanbul in the background.
We disembarked at any earlier stop near Dolmabahçe Palace.
We walked along the Palace wall as cars whizzed by on the other side of us.
We looked out across the Bosphorus and then turned our attention inland.
We took the funicular from Kabataş to Taksim Square.
We saw a handpainted wheel twirling and driving the cable cars up and down the mountain.
We walked along Istiklal Caddesi and wound our way through side streets until we discovered a vendor serving dainty cups of Turkish coffee.
We had soup and gözleme for dinner at a restaurant on Istiklal Caddesi.
We completed our evening with brilliantly lit views of Galata Bridge and the Süleymaniye Mosque before heading for Sultanahmet for another well-earned night's rest.
