Now that it's back to work time, I won't be able to sustain my daily safaris. I've got a lot of great "specimens" to share though from our walks throughout the year -- we clocked over 300 miles on foot in 2008!

Finely pruned shrubs add visual interest to the sidewalks of Pacific Heights.
We chanced upon this "jungle house" on a side street in the Marina off of Fillmore. I wonder who lives here? Does having a house covered in vines add or detract from the property value?
